My Christmas Village

I hand painted all of the houses and people, with the exception of just a few. All the pieces are made from plaster. I started this village around 1980. With three or four houses.  I added a few houses along the way.  Haha

The extension was added about 5 years ago.

"Dinah's Drive In" is Dept. 56.  It doesn't fit the time period, but I had to get it because I never find anything with my name on it.

I cut out these tiny picture from the TV Guide Magazine Years ago.  The one on the left is from "Rudolf".  I tried to put Rudolf in the window area and ripped it.  I had to throw it away and use the Post Man (played by Fred Astaire).  The picture on the right is from the "Little Drummer Boy".  On the side of the Cinema is a picture of "Frosty".  I painted this one in the 80's.

The Curiosity Shop / Attorney House is my oldest piece. Next to it is a Bakery , Toy Shop and Candle Shop.

No Village is complete without Santa!

The Park

 Ice House

Skating Pond

These are Dept. 56, gifts from my brother.

Candy and Santa's Bakery are two of my oldest pieces.

The Night Before Christmas House on the top of the hill.

Gifts from my brother.

Small Nativity next to the RR Station.

I hope you enjoyed my little village.
Is it finished..... Nope

I have several unpainted and waiting.......

  1. This is absolutely wonderful, Dina! I can see how much thought went into the design and display of all your pieces. You are very talented! Love, Lu
